With a loaded cast - Christina Applegate, Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph - and boasting the talents of SNL writer Emily Spivey, and SNL co-creator Lorne Michaels, Up All Night aims to knock another home-run out of the "Park." (pun intended)
With so much talent assembled for one TV show, is this a hit-or-miss situation? Often times (admittedly this happens with feature films more often than with TV), we as the viewing public are disappointed by such a heavily stacked deck in the cast department when the financial backers of a project have banked solely on the fan base of the stars involved. However, in this case we have a show created by a solid comedy writing talent, and boasting an Executive Producer who has proven himself many times over for the past 40+ years.
Only time will tell, but with such a solid formula for success, it would be difficult to go wrong.
Tune in Wednesday, September 14th @ 10pm on NBC and decide for yourself - then come back and let us know what you thought!
